It all started with a note, a blog, a copyright career, and one very annoying best friend - that would be me. Guilty. Who, in an act of either great love or great audacity, decided to publish my first short story. A story I'd written for her birthday, no less. Publishing it for all to see - here within - under my independent publishing house, Krebs Press, and in doing so, launched her personal mission to drag my work into the world whether I was ready to release it or not.

This is important to note: Krebs Press is not an AI-generated eBook factory. These stories are real. Lived in. Seasoned by a lifetime of travel, education, religious and cultural collisions, family chaos, deep friendships, and all the beautiful, messy trials in between. They carry actual human experience, the kind no algorithm has yet managed to fake convincingly.

But - and they say everything mentioned after the word ‘but’ is the truth - this is the start of my endless ‘starts’. And one that I genuinely hope you'll stay a while; browse the satirical short stories, the completed novels, the ones still very much ‘in the works’, and the blogs.

And maybe, just maybe, you'll find something that fits perfectly into your next film pitch. Or your lazy Sunday lunch. Or those last, few, weary minutes before sleep, when a final sentence follows you quietly into the land of nod.
